2.1 Preparation of the Input Data Stream for a New Project

 

All named objects in GIANT, images, frames, groups, camera systems, conform to the same naming conventions. The names may consist of up to 8 alphabetic, numeric or special characters. The names are case insensitive. The names are position insensitive: they may be specified anywhere within their corresponding field. They comply to the Eliminate Leading Character Flag (see Section 3.5).
